Getting Started

So you want to try using GeoVISTA Studio?

You can use the instructions below to start Studio on your machine. We have begun providing thorough documentation and examples to help guide our users.

Here are some introductory materials:

  • A basic Studio guide.

  • A few tutorials for sample applications using Studio.

Java™ Web Start allows GeoVISTA Studio to be launched with just a single-click of a mouse. Try launching GeoVISTA Studio by clicking on its image or push "Launch" button.

Note: you must have Java™ J2SE v1.4+ installed. Studio does not yet support Java 1.5 - please download 1.4.2 in order for Studio to install correctly.
